Train Trapped by Wildfire in Canada

CANADA – Impressive footage is circulating on social media of a train in the Canadian province of Ontario that appears to be completely surrounded by flames during a wildfire. The crew waited on site for help as the fire spread around the train.

In the video footage, a crew member can be heard reporting over the radio that the situation is becoming increasingly serious. “This is starting to get a little scary,” they say. A moment later, the crew member reports that the train is completely engulfed in flames.

Wildfires Caused by Extreme Heat

The incident reportedly occurred near Armstrong in the province of Ontario, where extreme heat has led to numerous wildfires in recent days.

According to the provincial fire department, there were more than 120 active wildfires in northwestern Ontario. In several areas, residents were forced to evacuate their homes due to the advancing fire.

Crew Safe

Although the exact circumstances of the incident are not yet fully known, several sources report that the crew weathered the situation safely and no one was injured.

Canada is currently experiencing exceptionally high temperatures. In cities such as Ottawa and Toronto, temperatures are reaching nearly 38 degrees, while the heat index is significantly higher due to high humidity. Meteorologists expect the heat to gradually subside later this week, though a persistent high-pressure system will continue to bring very warm conditions for the time being.
