German Train Conductor Becomes an Internet Sensation After an Unexpected Stop

GERMANY – A train conductor for the German railway company Deutsche Bahn has garnered a lot of sympathy after making a remarkable decision during a train ride. Since all the toilet paper on board had run out, the train made a brief stop so he could buy more toilet paper at a supermarket.

Deutsche Bahn confirmed the incident and stated that the shortage of toilet paper was due to a staffing shortage, which prevented supplies from being restocked in a timely manner.

The railroad company announced that inspections will be conducted more frequently in the future to prevent similar situations. The cost of the toilet paper purchased will also be reimbursed to the conductor in question.
